The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have suffered some tough losses this season, and things are not looking up for them at the moment. Baker Mayfield is out for this one, and that obviously downgrades everyone on their offense. Jalon Daniels will take over for Mayfield in this game, and he was decent, but not great against the Green Bay Packers last week.Â
So far, Tampa is 0-4 for the season, but they might take a bit of solace in the fact that they have been in every game and lost them all by one score. They are knocking on the door of a win, but cant seem to push it down. Does that mean they still have hope this season, or is it a lost cause this year?Â
The Dallas Cowboys come into this game with a 2-2 record. The two losses were both to teams that are decent enough. In Week 1, they faced the New York Giants and lost by eight points. In Week 2, they were able to win at home over the Commanders by 17. In their Brazil game, they faced the Ravens and were winning late in the game, but ultimately lost the lead and the game by three.Â
Last week, they had to face their in-state opponent, and they beat Houston by four points. Dallas has been able to score over 30 points in each of the past three games, but theyve also allowed 30 or more in the past two games. We know their offense can roll, but will their defense get stops even against a backup quarterback?Â
We will see if Dallas can make it work on both sides of the ball. The Buccaneers need to see if they can get some offense working against a struggling defense.
